The Custom Bourbon Blending Experience was made for groups. Every guest tastes six bourbon finishes, each shaped by a different wood, hears how Cincinnati became the commercial birthplace of bourbon, and blends a recipe of their own, guided by our team. Nobody watches from the sidelines. Everybody blends.
The experience runs about an hour, and your group is welcome at the bar before and after. If guests love what they made, we bottle it in minutes with a custom label while they wait: $54.99 for a 750 ml bottle, which can even be named for the occasion, the team, or the company.
Three ways to bring a group
The private experience room (up to 18)
Book an entire room for 18 and it is yours. If your group is smaller and you still want the room private, the seats you do not use convert to non-bourbon drinker tickets, so your guests get 2 drink tickets per unused seat to spend on cocktails, mocktails, and more. Groups of 18 or fewer can book directly on the website for any existing time frame available.
Larger groups (19 or more)
For bigger groups, private parties, and events that need catering, we plan it with you directly. A catering add-on is available for private parties through our neighbors at Nicholson’s (or others), and the format flexes around your schedule, including days and times outside our regular hours, when available. We come to you
We do off-site experiences at offices, homes, restaurants, bars, hotels, and event venues, and we can bring the full Custom Bourbon Blending Experience with us. There are specific liquor laws we must follow, and we will walk you through them. Email us and tell us about your event.

Team building that people actually talk about
Your team tastes, blends, debates, and leaves with a bottle they made and named. It works for holiday parties, client appreciation, leadership offsites, and the team that has already done every escape room in Cincinnati. We have non-bourbon drinking options too, so everyone enjoys their time and can be apart of the presentation.
Custom bottles with your logo
We make private label bottles with your company’s logo for client gifts, closings, and events. Simple black and white artwork adds a one-time $10 charge for setup. Guests can also create their own blend one at a time through an online link if you want the gift to be the making, not just the bottle.
Fundraisers
Nonprofits can run a Bottles for a Cause fundraiser: your 501(c)(3) picks a name and a blend, we give you a shareable link to sell the bottle at $54.99, and a portion of every sale comes back to your organization quarterly.
Food and drink
Small bites are always at the bar: mini charcuterie, soft pretzels, our bourbon popcorn, and Aglamesis chocolates. For private parties, a catering add-on is available through Nicholson’s next door. Anyone who would rather not blend takes the Non-Bourbon Drinker ticket at the same price, with two tickets good for cocktails (21+), mocktails, bourbon popcorn, a mini charcuterie board, or a logo rocks glass, and they stay with the group for everything else. There is also a Revel wine flight option for wine drinkers.
Good to know
- Everyone blending or tasting must be 21 or older with a valid, unexpired ID.
- One of our experience rooms is upstairs. If stairs are an issue, email us ahead of your visit and we will set your group up comfortably.
- Parking: the LAZ Garage at 36 East 7th Street is closest, Fountain Square parking is a block away, and the free Connector Streetcar stops across the street at the Aronoff Center stop.
